I second DIYautotune, you can get it from someplace like ebay, but if its new its going to be the same price and the ebay seller is just a middle person, so might as well go DIYautotune

Plus 1 on DIYAutoTune. That's what I did, was the only place that I was able to find that had any type of discount. Plus they seem to have great customer service by the few questions I asked them. 10% may not seem like a massive deal but that's about $120 difference on the ecu alone. More if you get the other add ons which we all do. Long time to wait though I was lucky that it was just a couple months from when I decided I wanted to get one.

Question, why you looking into the MS3Pro? Does your car have or are you planning on running VVT? That's the only reason to get one over the cheaper MS2 from my understanding. I have an MS3pro also but I'm running VVT on my 97 NA. Just thought I'd ask in the case of potentially saving you some cash.

Ahhh I never heard of that before. Is it a back end ecu processing thing? From what I've seen to the menus are pretty much identical to the gen2s.

answered my own question came across this https://www.diyautotune.com/support/...tems-compared/
Says MS3 does have faster processing which is never a bad thing. If that product meets your goals then have at it lol. But never a bad idea to call or email DIY and talk out your goals and concerns with them. Never know they may point you to one over the other for what ever reason and save you a few hundred bucks lol.
