Default MS3X Grounding Issue?

So after further investigation, I found my TPS to be reading correctly albeit slightly out of adjustment. I've been having trouble trying to get my MS3x to read the TPS sensor, I actually got it to read for the first time yesterday! That is where my problem now lies though, it only seemed to read when the DB37 connectors were barely socketed, I haven't been able to recreate the scenario and thus my TPS does not read. This leads me to believe I have some sort of odd grounding issue to the MS case from my wiring patch (https://trubokitty.com/#/ms3xassembly style) to the connector/case? I was wondering if anyone else has fought with this before and maybe fixed it?

What MS are you running? You said DB37 so I am assuming this is not a PNP unit? Do you have +5V at the LT GRN/WHT wire which would confirm correct 5V reference output by the ECU (I am assuming this is for a 96 miata since that is what you have under your profile information)? Also check for powers and grounds to the sensor. Do you have continuity on the RED/BLK wire to the ECU from the sensor? This is the signal wire for the TPS.
