Default MSLabs MS3 Basic ADC Input For Fuel Gauge

I am trying to figure out how to input my 0-5v reading from my 2002 miata fuel level into my MS3 Basic. I have the divider circuit working fine, I just cannot figure out how to map the input to one of the DB37 pins. There is a pin labeled "SPARE_ADC Analog Input" on pin 12 that seems like the logical pin to use, but I cannot figure out which input pin 12 maps to in the add channel wizard. Any ideas?

The MS3 pin list is on page 4 of this doc: https://trackspeedengineering.com/fi...20V3%20140.pdf

I'm guessing it's generic sensor input 1 or generic sensor input 2 (that's what the explict "spare 0-5V" analog inputs are on the MS3 Pro).

Hi

On my MS3 Basic it maps through to SPARE_ADC (ADC13)...

Cheers

Ahh - just had a look at TunerStudio and I think I see what you are trying to do...

Advanced Engine -> Generic Sensor inputs.

Pick a free sensor source, then select SPARE_ADC as the input. Give it a friendly name if you want

Then in Add Channel Wizard, select the input you just bound to SPARE_ADC as your source (eg. Sensor 01).

I'm not sure if you need to do your 0-5v mapping in the Generic Sensor Input section to define how the input is scaled, in the Add Channel Wizard (which may just define how the gauge is scaled) or both!

Cheers

Jon
