Default MSPNP with 1.8L motor in 1990 Car

So I'm contemplating putting a megasquirt pnp in my 1990 miata. I had a custom turbo setup for my 1.6L, but due to unforseen circumstances (detonated cylinder 4), I'm rethinking things. My setup before the detonation was like this:

Custom manifold and downpipe
16G turbo with small compressor(not ebay)
Supra TT 440CC injectors
Vent to atmosphere BOV
Toyota COP conversion
Silicone Intakes barrel style air / water intercooler
AEM F/iC piggyback
Gizzmo IBC Boost Controller
2.5" Aluminum charge piping and intake with AEM Dryflow filter
Full MAF Delete via F/iC

So with the 1.8 motor, I know I'll need to have another manifold made for me, which isn't a super big deal, but I'm also thinking I want to try a different engine management system. The MSPNP certainly fits into my budget, which is quite small now since I had to buy a new motor, but I have a few concerns / questions. So here goes:

1. The 94 1.8L is from a 5spd, and I'm assuming has a proper TPS, unlike my 5spd 1.6 motor. Will the MSPNP be able to recognize this, using the stock 1.6 wiring harness?

2. Am I losing anything from having the 1.6L wiring harness / 1.6 MSPNP that I might get from having a 1.8 harness and the 1.8 MSPNP? Should I be doing a complete conversion?

Thanks folks! I've used Haltech, Hydra, and AEM EMS on customer cars, but haven't used MS. Sort of nervous about the whole thing.

I have a 99 motor in a 1.6 running the 9093mspnp. Search my **** and find every answer under the sun because I'm an invalid and had everyone answer every question under the sun for me.

the short answer is to bolt in the 1.8, do the tps mod on ms, and play with the idle valve frequency to make it run right.
