Default MSPNP first drive help

Finally got my MSPNP up running, but I need a little help to move on.

Car is stock '92 N/A apart from a K&N induction filter and a FM single tip cat back. MAF removed and using a GM IAT. LC-1 WB O2 + DB gauge.

It starts OK, idle is a bit rough and unstable. Drives OK with no stutter or hesitation.

But I suffer from resets and the AFR values seems all over and in general too lean.

Please take a look on my log and the msq (basemap with one MLV analyze + mod). Thanks

Sorry man, I just got mine working too, and I'm too rich. If your AFRs are inconsistent, check it your Exhaust settings to make sure it's set to wideband, and also make sure you have the correct output from the LC-1 giving the 0-5v signal to MS (brown wire I believe).

Frequent resets seam to be from bad grounds. Recheck the main ECU ground (back of the head on 1.6?)

use mlv, change ve #'s to hit the target afr, then smooth it out. You need to learn to do this, not get someone on the forum to do it for you. Its the most basic adjustment, learn it.

The "resets" in your data log are actually communication dropouts rather than processor resets. Are you using a USB adapter?

Thanks for your feedback, much appreciated.

@ Matt. yes I'm using a USB adapter, bought at DIY. Any fix for the communication dropouts?

@ Hustler: It's not my intention to cut any corners and I wasn't asking for a final fix. Just a few experienced advices to get me in the right direction.

Does my log look OK apart from the fact that I need to tune the VE table?

To my belief, I have done everything according to the manual. And for sure, I wan't to learn tuning the thing!

Try increasing the InterWriteDelay setting in the INI file - see this link for more details:
