I have the DIY 9093 MSPNP.
I see on thier website they have now software including the Hi-Res code.
I downloaded it to have a look at what is included, but it's an .exe file not a zip. Is it going to overwrite my existing MS folder?
Which of my existing files should I backup, just in case?
Am I correct that once I load the Hi-Res, I'm starting from scratch again. All my previous settings & changes are gone?

save your current car folder just in case but it shouldn't write over it.
You can load your current MSQ into it and have all your previous settings. I believe they fixed that issue where loading a standard res MSQ was giving some people a 2500 rev limit issue. Someone else can chime in on that.

I agree with paul. Backup your current MS project folder and install the new .exe and transfer the important old files over.
The new 10G hi-res code doesn't have the 2500-3k rpm rev limit issue.
