Default Mspnp2

Hey guys i just purshased a megasquirt pnp2 for my 97 mazda miata and i uploaded the base map on it. I m having troubles when startig up the car it wont start unless i step on the gas and it wont idle until i rev it a couple of secs, and when i try to accelerate as soon as i press the rpm drops for a sec and then goes up! I m not sure if it is because of the base map or is there any good map out there. I have a t25/t28 turbo target goal is 10 psi and i will be installing rx8 fuel injectos the yellow ones.
If anyone already has a good map i would greatly appreciate it

No base map is going to work perfectly with your car. You have to tune it. You need to adjust your cranking settings and after start enrichment to get it to turn on properly and to stop the hesitation you need to adjust your accel enrichment settings.

You need to stop, take a step back and read. Read the stickies, read MS's megamanual. READ READ READ

With autotune for the most part. Or you can go pay a competent tuner.

Startup and cold start are just things you fiddle with over the coming year as you encounter different weather conditions.

Have you even set required fuel, calibrated timing, tps, I assume you're on speed density, have you wired in IAT, ran line to MAP sensor?
What HAVE you done?

I admire the fact that you're trying to use the right tool, but you first need to learn how to actually use it.
Please don't even think of driving this car before getting it to idle better than stock. Only then drive it but wire the wastegate open until you learn how to tune, or use VEAL.

This does not sound like better than stock.

Verify required fuel for the 254cc injectors.
Shitcan the MAF, wire in a GM IAT.
Tune your cranking and priming pulse.
Tune your idle.
At least post this tune for us to look at.

After looking at the tune:
I do not like repeating myself.
Verify required fuel for the 254cc injectors.
Shitcan the MAF, wire in a GM IAT. (unless you did since the tune is set for speed density)
Tune your cranking and priming pulse.
Tune your idle.
At least post this tune for us to look at.
Have you even looked at idle settings? I don't tune in open loop, i use closed loop.
Your fuel map is seriously cringe worthy. You shouldn't be driving this thing with the wastegate arm attached whatsoever.
This thing has to drive like ****.
