mspnp2 questions/trouble
I recently installed a megasquirt pnp2 from DIY auto tune on my 94 1.8 Miata. I got it all installed and set up for first start. It cranked and barely ran for about 5 seconds then let out one helluva backfire and died. I had my timing light hooked up but found out that it is broken. I'm just wondering if this is a typical first start or if it should have fired and ran a little better. I also noticed that after I turned the key off and back on the check engine light flashed twice for about 5
That is a bit odd. Can you try getting a data log of what's going on?
I wont be able to work on the car again until next weekend. But if I can't get it running then ill post a datalog. I was just wondering if I could maybe get some insight before I'm able to dive back in to it.
Hey matt, I tried working on the car today when I plugged in my computer and clicked create new project, then detect for the firmware and it just searched for about 10 minutes before I cancelled. I'm at a loss here, not computer savvy at all. Do you know what would cause this.
