MT RPM Gauge not reading but VE Table tracks RPM
While trying to fix a different problem, I upgraded to HR 10g code. Once did, I lost the tach in MegaTune. The RPM still tracks while in the tuning screen, just no tach. Any suggestions?

what is in it's place?

It's there. It's just red (like the guages are with the ignition off) and reads -- RPM. the wierd part is the green block on the VE table moves w/ rpm. So it has to be a software issue. I'm going to reload MT and go from there....

Just reloaded MT with no change. The "Engine Speed" gauge works, the "Engine RPM" that doesn't. Not a huge deal, but a bit of a PITA.

Any ideas? I thought this wouldn't be a big deal, but my daalogs don't track RPM either.

its gotta be something with your msns_extra.ini file.

Alright, thanks for the help. I'll see what happens.

I would start with fresh firmware and a freshly saved MSQ. That usually corrects strange issues like this one.

I reloaded my old firmware and the issure went away. High res still has the issue though. At least I know where the problem is. Thanks guys.

If you're not using the newest 10G firmware of HI-RES then you should be.

Its 10g that's givving me the problem. Are there different releases I need to be aware of?
--Alex |
10G is the most current and you're the first to have this issue that I know of. I suggest posting in the msextra forum to get some help with this issue.

Taken care of. I didn't run one of the batch files. My MT wasn't configured fot the 10g code. Once I ran that file, my mSec guage read down to the thousandth and the tach came back.
Thanks for the help. Back to tuning.... --Alex |
