Default Is my MS1e soldering/set-up correct?

Hi! I want to know if my soldering/ board setup is correct, for a 1997 Miata with stock ignition.

I bought a MS1e from a friend who originally had it on a BMW E30.
My computer friend soldered the board for my turbo 1997 Miata with stock ignition.

He said he referenced this diagram:

Or do I need to be referencing this diagram?

Here is his work on my board:

The green wires and resistors in the first picture are for the spark output. You want them.

The purple capacitor is to filter out noise on the tach input. You want it.

The first diagram is input AND output mods. The second diagram is only input mods. You want the first one.

It looks like your Tachselect is jumpered to VRIN. You want to undo that and jump Tachselect to optoin.
Also, jump XG1 to XG2. Jump TSEL to Optoout instead of VRout.

Refer to this: http://miataturbo.wikidot.com/ms-assembly

Holy crap. I've been reading about and modding my MS so much now that I can actually give advice about it!
