My MS2 Basemap

For the folks that have been asking:

This is a MS2 3.0.3h with an incomplete dyno tune (trigger wheel started to break off the crank pulley while on dyno) plus a little cruise tuning on the road. It cold starts, cruises, and boosts well. Car is as listed in sig (stock engine 99, GT2560, 3" exhaust, 550cc injectors).

The dyno tune was not completed and spark is set pretty conservatively for GA 93 pump. I would consider this a solid basemap, however I am posting it "For Informational Purposes Only". Use this file, or any data from it, at your sole risk. My fuel pump was also running a bit weak, so it's likely that it will run rich on your car. Maybe. I dunno. Don't break your car by just copying this. If you blindly load this to your MS, you will break your car.

If you blindly load this to your MS, you will break your car. Be smart people.

After saying that, I know people will just load it to their car anyway. If you copy it, these things that are guaranteed to be incorrect for your car:
-My trigger wheel settings (vishnu 60-2 wheel)
-My ignition settings (LS2 coils)
-EGO (the VE table is set where I cruise at 14.7 everywhere, but I've been fooling with the EGO settings attempting to emulate inferior OEM performance to fool the stock computer)

if you use this msq with stock coils, make sure to change the spark output from inverted to normal.

Ben 02-07-2010 10:46 AM

Stock coils should also be going high/inverted with the DIYPNP, as well as a v3 or 3.57 with the standard spark circuits.

I stand corrected. I thought the DIYPnP was the same as a standard V3 board where you choose not inverted (going low).

with the v3.0 board, on ms2 , it still depends on how you build the spark output circuit, correct?

Ben 02-07-2010 03:41 PM

Yes, it depends on which output you build. Just follow the procedure for the output you use.

Another reason why map sharing can be bad.
