NA BP Engine rebuild - changes in tune ?
#21
I took my old NA table and blended it with yours while trying to compensate for the higher comp. It has more defined accel and cruise areas. The 100 & 105kpa are lower then needed and could be raised after your more dialed in. The increased density of the mixture will reduce combustion temps. The conservative timing and afr will increase the exhaust temps. The timing table needs to match the AFR. Lean and rich mixtures burn slower. The difference between 12.5 and 14.7 is small, but past these limits the difference increases. The cruise area will tolerate more timing because of the lower load, output and it will lower the exhaust temp.

Ok so when I figure out the timing / knock issue lean out the top rows again a bit and retune everything ?
Thanks m8!
