clock circuit testing (step 41)
Ok,
Im at about step 40 of the v3.0 board assembly. I am at the stage where i need to test the clock circuit in megatune. Megatune is recognizing the com port and not giving me an issue with that, but when i open up the realtime display it DOES NOT show the time (s) count or battery voltage as it should.
I have tested the serial port and it works fine, i have checked all solder points and they look good. the only possibility i could think of is if the Y1 crystal component got destroyed by the contacts crossing.
My setup is this:
Megatune V 2.25 set up for PLX wideband and MSnS extra code
Megasquirt V3.0 board w/ MS1 chip
Megastim V2.2 w/ power supply
USB-Serial addapter (DIYAUTOTUNE one... it works)
Windows XP on a dell laptop
Any input would be great!!
