Default New AFR500CAN or AEM X-Series with Trackspeed / MS Labs CAN module

Tired of dealing with my finnicky Innovate MTX-L plus wideband and decided its time to replace the POS with a AEM X-series to hook into my existing Trackspeed CAN Module.

Was ready to buy the AEM X-Series
https://www.aemelectronics.com/products/gauges/digital-gauges/x-series-wideband-uego-afr-sensor-controller-gauge

Then I noticed the add for the new AFR500CAN
https://www.bmotorsports.com/shop/pr...oducts_id/5250

AEM seems to be the new standard but the ARF really looks intriguing?

Anyone play with both or at least the ARF 500 and know how well they integrate into my existing CAN module?

I have had the AEM X wideband and O2 sensor for more than a year now. Amazing unit and very easy to setup with HP Tuners. Not sure about your application. I love it though and would not hesitate to buy another if I needed it.

I've been waiting to buy one of these for about a year now (kicking myself for not doing it when they were in stock, but now with all these semiconductor shortages....) so perhaps the proven/in stock option is best these days. I'll probably "eek by" with my old-as-**** AEM analog unit but that sweet sweet sensor response time with the new LSU ADVs and revised heater design are rather appealing in my opinion.

Would be pretty swell if someone else offered an alternative but alas, it's not the case.

Tired of seeing this.
Pretty sure Reverant would be the perfect person to answer.

In another thread, Reverant discussed his new MS3’s with its own wideband controller. Should be nice. It available at this time, however.
