Default new use for datalog files...

Hey guys check out this software i found today... great for autox.

http://trackvision.net/index.shtml

Its called trackvision and displays engine data on the screen in a dashboard form for your racing video's. The best part is that i found out it will work with megasquirt. One of the guys on their forums is setting up a dashboard for me to display RPM, engine MAP, and throttle position.

If it wasnt $200 for the software id definetly buy it and use it. With a cheap GPS datalogger from ebay you can display a track map on there too.

Yeah - the issue I've always seen is timestamping, or "what is the time".... Still, folks have done this and are quite happy with it, it was all the rage on the powerlist a while back.

Now if you had an ADC watch the video out line on the camcorder and picked up the 30hz sync, you could do a hell of a job with it. :-)

Yeh, I looked at the config files and they are pretty simple to modify.

I've just added a TPS to mine, but the 90s dont have them as standard.
