On its way

I can see some points where overrun fuel cut is being disabled due to the A/C working (the idle valve opens more, so the fuel load increases and above 40% disables the overrun fuel cut). You can safely increase it to 45 and see if that helps.

I need to check your A/C settings a little more.

I *think* the AC was off during the first example (the 15 second stretch) and was on during the second example.

Reverant 06-21-2012 12:16 PM

Yes it was off during the first example and engine braking was normal - the injectors were off and the idle valve was at 25% - nowhere near enough to cause any engine braking issues.

Where is the overrun fuel cut setting so that I can up it to 45 as you suggested?

Reverant 06-21-2012 01:37 PM

Extended -> Overrun fuel cut -> "and KPa lower than"

That's what I get for not getting to the thread for 5 hours after opening the page.

Am I missing somewhere where setting the "and kpa lower than 45" sounds like a good idea?

lol @ admin-troll

Braineack 06-21-2012 06:45 PM

im not trolling, i have my overrun set at something like, well hold on let me look, greater than 1500RPM and less than 28kPa. I idle at 31-32kPa.

I cant look at msq and logs at work.

You don't have an Enhanced MS2. With a regular MS2 or MS3 you wouldn't even be able to drive the car or have it idle with those values.

You have to pay the troll toll if you want to get into this boy's hole.

MoonieGT 06-22-2012 08:53 AM

Could be a placebo effect, but I think upping it to 40 helped...
