The ms was working and have power in the car before i remove it to do a inverted spark. Now, the ms won't turn on when i install it in the car. It works using the stim and i can load the maps and working fine. I notice none of the lights turn on though. I checked the harness and it was correct and working before i remove the ms from the car. Is there a secret switch or fuse that cause this from happening? Also, when i put the stock ecu back in, it works just fine. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you guys.

 

Which LEDs don't blink on the stim? Are you using a JimStim? How is it set up?

 

i am using the jimstim, none of the lights on the ms itself lit. However it still works when i plug in the laptop. The rpm on the stim doesn't work but that's due to the jimstim , not the ms . On the jimstim , the pmp, I1, I2, lit up for a little while and then turn off when i plug the powers in.

 

You're not going to get the injector or ignition lights on the stim to do much of anything if you can't get RPM to the ECU.

Are you setting the stim up for 4G63 and the 2nd tach input?

I would want to see the ECU work properly on the stim being that is was just modified. If it checks out, I'd then start testing your harness for a mis-wiring.
