No spark when cranking

I an not getting any spark when cranking. When I use the spark output test mode i can get spark. I an not receiving a RPM signal when cranking and i think that might be the cause but I am not sure what to check now. The car is a 2004 Mazdaspeed miata and I'm using an MS3X. I followed the wiring instructions on turbokitty.com and I'm using the turbo kitty basemap and firmware 1.4.1. I have attached the .msq composite log and data log.

Thank You

It ended up being one of the potentiometers not being adjusted properly but now the megasquirt is causing the battery to drain overnight. Does anyone have any suggestions for a fix?

What troubleshooting have you done to confirm the megasquirt is causing the drain?

I was able to work on the car and confirmed that the megasquirt is causing the issue. With the stock ecu installed and the keys out of the ignition there is a current of only 7mA. When I install the MS3 the current is a little over 3A with the keys removed. I also noticed that with the megasquirt plugged in and the keys removed some of the dash lights are lit very dimly. I found someone with a similar problem to me on post number 14 of this thread https://www.miataturbo.net/megasquir...f-94001/page2/ Their fix was to use an injector output or WLED for the main relay. I am currently using INJ G for the radiator fan can I switch that to Nitrous 1 and use INJ G for the main fan? Otherwise it looks like I can wire the WLED to pin 3 on the megasquirt but I am not sure how to do that. Any help is appreciated.

Hi, I am actually experiencing the same thing with my megasquirt. Same battery drain and lights on dash. I followed trubokitty assembly for a mazdaspeed miata. My main relay is hooked to the nitrous 1 pin on the megasquirt.Look up this thread for all the info https://www.miataturbo.net/megasquir...7/#post1649967

Thanks for your help.
