Not RPM Synced

I was trying to get my base timing done but I wasn't getting any spark to my coils. At first I thought I wired my coils wrong but then I did the spark test and saw that all the pistons were firing as they should with a good strong spark. Then I noticed a red bar at the bottom of tuner studio reading "Not RPM Synced". So I checked all my wiring, couldn't see anything wrong (possibly my grounds). I looked through the forums and couldn't find anything that helped so here I am turning to you guys for advice. I am driving a 1.6L Miata JR supercharged with only 5.5-6psi of boost. I built a diy Megasquirt 2 on a 3.0 board. I am using the pinout at the bottom of this page and the wiring harness at the bottom of this page. I am confused on how I am supposed to wire in the the pins 2A, 2B, 2C, and 2D in with my harness. Currently I have the grounds wired as in the picture from the wiki page but I wasn't sure if I was supposed to wire in all 5 of the harness grounds engine grounds to 2C and 2D or connect some of them to my own engine ground. I've been playing around with the grounds in case I was wrong and I still cannot find an rpm signal which leads me to think that the problem is in my settings.https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mia...a25cb5f213.jpghttps://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mia...a80493339a.jpg
Here is the wiring according to the same wiki page (not sure why IAC2A is wired to JS7). I believe I've attached my .msq , if not I'll put it in the next post. Also I know my maps probably suck *** but I plan on getting those smoothed out after I get my car idling.

Any help will be much appreciated!

Please post a composite log of an attempted start. This will let everyone have a closer look at the crank and cam signals.
