Default Not RPM Synced

I was trying to get my base timing done but I wasn't getting any spark to my coils. At first I thought I wired my coils wrong but then I did the spark test and saw that all the pistons were firing as they should with a good strong spark. Then I noticed a red bar at the bottom of tuner studio reading "Not RPM Synced". So I checked all my wiring, couldn't see anything wrong (possibly my grounds). I looked through the forums and couldn't find anything that helped so here I am turning to you guys for advice. I am driving a 1.6L Miata JR supercharged with only 5.5-6psi of boost. I built a diy Megasquirt 2 on a 3.0 board. I am using the pinout at the bottom of this page and the wiring harness at the bottom of this page. I am confused on how I am supposed to wire in the the pins 2A, 2B, 2C, and 2D in with my harness. Currently I have the grounds wired as in the picture from the wiki page but I wasn't sure if I was supposed to wire in all 5 of the harness grounds engine grounds to 2C and 2D or connect some of them to my own engine ground. I've been playing around with the grounds in case I was wrong and I still cannot find an rpm signal which leads me to think that the problem is in my settings.
Here is the wiring according to the same wiki page (not sure why IAC2A is wired to JS7). I believe I've attached my .msq , if not I'll put it in the next post. Also I know my maps probably suck *** but I plan on getting those smoothed out after I get my car idling.

Any help will be much appreciated!

Please post a composite log of an attempted start. This will let everyone have a closer look at the crank and cam signals.
