Engine starts right up and runs a few seconds then stalls. I can not get the engine to idle. I have spent 2 weeks researching this issue on line and have tried adjusting required fuel to lean and rich but doesn't make any difference. I don't know what to try or look at next and would appreciate a look at my msq if I have a setting incorrect. Also any suggestion on how to troubleshoot my problem.

I have no running history on the engine.
Just completed the WBO2 build and not sure it's working correctly.

Thanks -Ron

Could be something to do with the 0% duty cycle at idle at upper temp you have on your settings, although my firmware has entirely different options. Post current tune if you have anything else other than what you have provided.

Thanks SA58Junkie for your time to respond. I did leave out important info as I am using a Ford 2 wire PWM IAC. Based on MS1Extra Software Manual the upper temp duty cycle can be set to 0 to start tuning. I think this closes the valve once upper temp is reached. I know the valve is open as I can put my finger on the intake and lots of air is pulled in a start up. If I manually restrict the intake of the IAC valve I get no difference in results. The engine still stalls after a few seconds so I haven't dealt with adjusting the parameters of this valve yet.

I have changed the req'd fuel value in steps from 13 to 2 and from 13 up 25 but don't see any effect on behavior, after a few seconds it stalls. It always starts up immediately but still stalls.

Is there a file different than the .msq that you are asking for? I thought the .msq file was the tune file????

I think I have a bad setting that is giving me this behavior since I have played with the fuel for last 3 weeks and same behavior. I'm wondering if my RPM looks right as it seems be jumpy on the .csv- The engine oscillates a little before it stalls but doesn't seem to like the chart. I am using the stock CAS with shielded cable grounded at the ECU end.
