re-adjust AFR table after Dyno Tuning?

I put the car on a Mustang Dyno & spent a few hours tuning. I had EGO turned off of course.
Now if I turn EGO back on, it will pull the AFR's away from what we did on the dyno.
Am I correct that I have to just "try to match the dyno tune" on my AFR table now? Or is there an easy way to deal with this?

well, does your dyno tune match your targets table? EGO doesnt care about anything but it's own table, it's very egotistical like that.

1) output 1 or 2 are incorrectly configured
2) you don't have the best ground points for all 4-grounds in question (heater, signal, gauge signal, computer)
3) VE table is wrong
4) EGO switchpoint is wrong
5) differnet load on the street than the track
6) sensor is getting hot
7) FMIC heatsoak

A long 5th gear pull looks a little leaner than 3rd gear when I'm on the track. That's what spark table "head-room" is for, brah.

Dyno tune does not match the targets table, I'd like to make it match but are not sure how to do that except to experiment.
I don't understand your comment about the EGO's own table. Doesn't it look at the AFR target table? or is that what you meant?

& Hustler... did you post in the wrong thread or am I REALLY confused?

Read my post again. Its an issue with either EGO settings or something external like heat-soak or on-the-road reality.

Okay... maybe when on the dyno I made a mistake? I thought that EGO should be turned off while dyno tuning, and so it was off. So the car was tuned as the tuner wanted it, not tuned to the AFR target table I had.
Is this not the way it is usually done?
So now my AFR target tables do not match my tuning.
I guess I need something like TunerStudios VE Analyze Live in reverse to develop a target table from the tune. I'm pretty sure a program like that does not exist, so what I was asking is, Is there some easy way to create an AFR Target table that matches the existing tune or must I experiment till I get it right?

you:

A. turn ego off.

B. ask what AFRs he was shooting for and recreate the table based on that.

C. become a rocket scientist.

If you have a log of the tuning session, just read the AFR from the log.

I like that!
I like to blow things up!

Post the dyno and .msq, I'd love to see what "the tuner" thinks is best. lol
