Default Routing Option Port Wires to Engine Bay Cleanly

I have another wiring question for folks here: I want to run some signal wires from the options port on the MS3PNP to the engine bay, but cleanly. I would rather NOT poke a hole through a grommet like the one by the clutch master. There are a few grommets/plugs on the firewall I am thinking of popping out and sticking some wires through. Yes, the wires will be sheathed and a grommet will be put back so it looks proper. My question is, could I run something like a shielded 6 conductor 22g for signals?

Signals I would like to wire for send/receive
Flex fuel sensor wire
Ignition sensor wires
MAP sensor

I figure if it is shielded, interference won't get in, but as important as those signals are I wouldn't want them to interfere with eachother. I am looking for TXL wiring but mostly see PVC unfortunately.

You could do something like this: https://www.prowireusa.com/c-58-tefz...lded-wire.html

Although it's over kill. The digital input for Flex and Map sensor analog input won't interfere with each other. I don't know what "ignition sensors" are. Knock? That's typically shielded.

Thanks curly. Ignition sensor wires are the R8 coils signal+ wire from the ecu. They will be sequential so that is 4 wires. I could run the MAP sensor through the OEM wires, but I will need E85 sensor wire. It would be nice to have an extra just in case.

I know it is overkill but that is my favorite kind of kill. I am making my R8 harness myself with 16g power/ground wires to each coil.

This is a 2002 like your sig? Use the two factory ignition wires for two of the triggers. Then there's factory MAP and solenoid wiring, you could easily repurpose many of the factory emissions I/Os for other ignition outputs or sensors, you'd just need to repin it at the ECU.

If you want to go overkill, get a Link ECU that already has most of this pinned out already, and if any bulkhead wiring can be done with ~$200 in milspec 1/4 turn connectors.

Prowire USA is great for wire and Deutsch kits

I like M22759/16 striped to match ECM wires.

If an NB2 you can run out little tit on firewall boot on drivers side or passenger side behind ABS or out plugs or AC line area if removed?
For 3 wire sensors twist wires together. For CAN twisted & shielded. Ignition wires run separately and shielded if possible.
You can share ECU 5v and sensor ground between 5 v sensors IE fuel pressure/temperature.
Wire from existing harness has plenty of 12 v & ground areas for 12v flex sensor.
DTM connecters with lots of labels make maintenance and troubleshooting later easier.
When running wires think about what to do with them when removing motor or doing maintenance.
