Default RPM/MAP based accel enrichments. What do these numbers mean?

A couple things first:
1. No vTPS
2. 460 cc injectors
3. I have a VERY basic understanding of what I'm doing
4. I don't even know what some of the values in these tables do.

I understand the numbers under MAP based AE, and I've been messing with them the past couple days to try to cure my slight hesitation/lean spikes. It's just a matter of getting them right, however I need to know what to aim for. What kind of numbers should I be seeing on my wideband when I run through this chart? Right now if I just sit somewhere and tap the throttle, I see about 18:1. Right now it looks like this:

kPa/s PW adder
80 2.9
140 4.5
210 5.8
300 7.3

I had the first number up to almost 5 ms and I was still seeing a lean spike. I just left it at 2.9 which is still a huge improvement over where it was a week ago. Am I just messing with these until it FEELS right? If so, I'm pretty much done.

As far as I can see, I'm actually using rpm enrichments, which if I'm understanding correctly, is augmenting MAP enrichment, not replacing it. If I hold rpm at about 5000 and then stomp it, I feel no hesitation but I see a lean spike in my wideband. This scares me a little. Do these RPM enrichment numbers look off to anyone? Again, I need to know what AFR's I should be looking for.

And lastly, I set MAPdot threshold to 20, it was originally at 50, and I noticed an improvement. I set accel time to 0.2 ms, it was originally at 0.5. What exactly am I doing here? I'm under the impression that it won't react to changes under 20 kPa/s, but I figured I'd make sure.

IIRC, RPM based accel enrich replaces the standard accel enrich instead of being added.

i too would REALLY like to know the answers to these questions
or at least be linked to a good tutorial as i also have a 1.6 miata no vTPS
i have megasquirted it last summer in preparation for turbo
it is now stored up for the winter
and i could not get the lean spikes on accel to go away before i put it up

and i wont turbo it until i get that taken care of

If you have a DIYPNP, settings for an MS1 won't matter - MS2's acceleration enrichment is different. It has a built in RPM based taper setting.
