2nd wheel Trigger settings
Why dont we use a 2/4 teeth setting for it, i opened up a 1993 cas and it looks like the picture below. Also, how does it work with the offset and different size holes in the middle one?

The reason for this thread is that I am having trouble triggering megasquirt with the cas ...
anyway, I just pulled the cas plug and did some testing with a multimeter on my spare cas (i had the cover off so that I could see the trigger wheel btw). So here are my results: the inner ring with two holes (yel-blu wire) faithfully spit out 5 volts when the holes passed by the sensor, however the outer ring did almost nothing and gave me like .03v momentarially when the hole passed the sensor, if i was lucky. I was under the impression that I should be getting 12 volts from the white wire, but I get none.
Now you may say that I have a bad sensor, but I do not believe that to be true, because with the stock ecu hooked up, the motor tried to start upon turning the cas by hand until fuel pressure ran out in about one engine cycle. Also testing at the end of the four wire plug (cas not attached of course) and using the ground on that plug, the white/red is 12v and the yel/blu and white (CMP and CKP) are 5volts
My next task is tracing this wire back to the ecu ...
