I just retired my old Lenovo and replaced it with a used T440 running W10. When running T/S and viewing gauges, the view will pause for, it seems, up to a second. Interestingly it happens most upon a throttle lift. Happens if logging or not. Logs don't have skips that I can tell.

I have attached my msq so that my communication settings are shown.

This is an MS3X with the built-in FDIC (sp?) chip built in and a USB cable.

@EO2K do you see anything, or have general advice on where I might look?

 

I have the same issue with my ms3 basic, which is connected to my android headunit via usb.

all gauges freeze for a sec once in a while. Mostly when not under throttle. No idea why.

 

Which TS version are you guys running?

 

this only happens on my android stereo via USB connection. Using MSDROID.

when using my laptop via bluetooth and latest tuner studio, no issues.

 

Btw comm settings are not saved in the msq. They are saved in the project folder.

 

So that sounds like a cable/driver issue. Although I generally do avoid bluetooth as much as possible, I have seen corruption issues a few times.

 

Which file? in Project Folder?

Again, no issue with old laptop. Same cable.

Using v 3.0.28 TS with 1.4.0 FW on MS.
