thank you Aussie Driver, Al Hounos, MiataMath
just to give a shout out to three pioneers for helping me get my close loop tuning to an acceptable state
as my signature says, 94-M, with 00 block, 02 head, square top intake, BEGi 2860 turbo, MSPNP1 with VCM finally found the following thread Miata Turbo Forum>Performance Tuning>MegaSquirt "sticky" Super Important MegaSquirt threads>Settings after several reading, I mostly duplicated the setting contained there now starts and idles with no drop if anyone is interested will post screen clips of my various setting |
You must have been looking at threads from like 2007-8. These members do not frequent this site anymore and haven't in years.
Are you even controlling your VVT? It hurts my face that you're using a MS1 on a VVT motor... |

Are you even controlling your VVT? It hurts my face that you're using a MS1 on a VVT motor... yes to controlling the VVT, using a DIY VCM [and the 94 CAS, and the 01 cam sensor, and the 99 crank wheel] it will hurt even worst when I tell you I have a Dimitris built MS2E w/VCM just setting on my workbench waiting for the right time I wanted to get the tune stable again before I replaced the MS-PNP1 once I get the MS2 stable, I plan to uncouple the LS coils and go sequential target is > 300 whp [on the Mustang dyno], but we will see are you available to do the MS1 to MS2 switch, and the pre-dyno tune? |
