The dooheckey thing looks like this one eBay Motors: 96-99 Ford Taurus TPS Throttle Position Sensor (item 270310031587 end time Feb-26-09 19:26:06 PST) The stock TPS was brittle - really ! It dies during surgery The base plate and sort of a plastic bushing remain. I will destroy it further and try to fit the said bushing into the above dooheckey end and JB weld it once the range of travel has been decided on. Thus is the best laid out plan of mice and men. |
BTW Do not buy the Duralast TPS 244 it requires rotation oposite to the way the miata Throtle shaft moves.
Anybody know what you set the idle paramemters to to take advantage of the VTPS ? Thanks |
