Hey Guys,

I have a BMW TPS hooked up and it works just fine for TPS ADC gauge and calibration (was able to get good readings in the calibration menu).

However, when I switch the gauge to the TPS % it will just jump back and forth between 0% and 100% as if it was a switch.

I have researched this and haven't found anything that seems to jump out at me. I have found that MegaSquirt uses the ADC values. I have looked in the .ini files to see if it was a software issue, but I keep coming up empty handed.

If it matters I am running the latest version of Hi-Res.

you didn't get a message saying your calibration numbers looked odd did you?

I presume you have reloaded MT.. I have noticed you have to exit and reload for the TPS % to work properly.

 

Nope, did not get that message, the calibration worked correctly so its all good in that sense of it.

By reloaded, do u mean reinstall? Or do you mean, just open it back up?

 

not install, just open it back up.

in the Tuning/realtime display, the throttle % is doing the same thing? if not, then the guage may not be configured properly.. best to wait until someone else chimes in who knows what they are doing.
