Trigger Angle Offset Q
I thought the dyno operator had gone through the trigger wizard, but apparently he did not. The tune I had been driving around with was set to 10*, and after completing the calibration, the offset is now set to 6*. The yeloow and white marks line up with 10 and tdc, respectively.
When I turned back on the timing table, the car appears to be idling advanced of where it had been. Could someone confirm that the motor is running with more advance with a 6* offset vs a 10*? Or do I have less timing? (Is offset CW or CCW?) |
Why not put it back to 10 degrees, hit it with your timing light and know for sure what the effect is?

I'm pretty sure you are now 4* less advanced than when he tuned it.
