On my '03, as well as my '99. cam and crank sensors show the same behavior. Cam sensor on the '99 is original, crank sensor on the '99 is aftermarket. '03 sensors are of unknown vintage.
The image below is while the engine is just about starting- just getting above cranking rpm. You can see the inversion happening right there.

Quick update: It appears that the issue has been solved by switching to "falling edge". Can't confirm 100% though, since some idiot drove the car rear-first into a tire-barrier. Updates will follow as soon as the body is straight-ish again.
