I assume the Table Switch pin was used simply because it was an input pin you weren't using at the time?

 

Yeah it was originally used for A/C idle up, but I've not had A/C in years. I don't remember all of the inputs that were listed in TunerStudio, but IIRC the only inputs available from the options port were TS or Launch. So without A/C and the Launch pin working it made sense to use TS.
