tune boost without tps
6 Attachment(s)
I have a 1992, no tps. According to my datalogs, TP always reads 49. How do I control how much boost I get and make sure not to get too much? I'd like to stay under 10psi. See attachments.
I'm guessing I just use one row on the boost duty table? If so, how should the values and rpms read? |

I have searched this and other sites numerous times for this info and did not see it discussed. |

Thanks. Do I need to adjust the tables for VE, spark, etc. to max out at 175 kpa? I think they are at 218 or so right now.
|
Also, since it is rpm based, how should out spread out the range?
And I'm guessing I should start with low boost at low rpm and gradually increase it the higher the rpm gets. |
Open each table, Click on the header row value and change the value

Thanks Jeremy. I've got that. I was asking if I'm not planning on more than 10psi, would it be better to have 175kpa be my top value instead of 218. And then I would make adjustments appropriately the rest of the way down the table.

Sorry, I misread the question.
That would allow you finer control over the range you're actually using. |

And back to boost duty, I could do something like the attached image, right? I have not tried it yet, but just asking for confirmation.
