1. Does the tps off a 90-93 automatic miata fit on a 90- 93 miata manual transmission throttle body? I know the plugs are different, but does it bolt up?

2. Are all 94 and up variable or are they just switches except the automatics?

 

I would rent a warehouse in the city. I'd clean it out and then I'd draw a like a plan of a house on the floor in chalk and invite all my friends. Then I'd buy myself a pair of chest waders. You know, like those waterproof rubber overalls that fisherman use. Well I'd get those and then I'd put them on. I'd have a lot of soy souce there too, so I'd take they soy sauce. Then I would just rub the soy sauce all over me, careful not to get it in my eyes. Then I would pour it over my chest and let the waders fill up completely with the soy sauce until I'm leaking soy sauce from all the holes in the waders rubber when i walk around. Then I would walk around the room backwards on all fours you know like a crab walk and I would just go up to all the chack pieces of furniture on the ground and just rub on them until they are scuffled. Chair just scuffled. Bed. Scuffled. my kitchen table scuffled. Toiled scuffled. Everything. Once I did that i would sort of just yell you know? My friends would then circle around me (I am paying them) and they would rub the soy sauce from my body onto their faces and then they would just stick their arms forward like zombies and walk in a circle and we would do this until I feel asleep.

No. The throttle shaft is different.

They are all variable. The '94-'97 TPSes still have an idle switch closure in addition to the variable element, and thus have four pins on the connector. The '99 and later units drop the idle switch and have only the resistive element. There is no functional difference between the two in a Megasquirt application.

Thanks for the replies, im having trouble finding a bmw variable tps to use on the miata. Going to check some junk yards soon.

Looks like i just snagged one on ebay. Got it for $58 shipped with the throttle body. Hopefully i can sell the throttle body for a couple of bucks....
