Sounds like you want to take some EFI classes.

If you really want to get down to the nitty gritty and learn EVERYTHING (or at least everything MS) go on DIY's site and start reading the writeups/info. It explains pretty much each setting, what it does, and what to strive for when tuning it.

Make sure you have time and patience, cause the read is definitely not exciting loll

Your spark table appears to be for a smallblock Chevy and not a Miata. Way too much advance, particularly off boost. Still, that is not the worst tune I've seen; it is merely plagiarized from the wrong source. I've seen other tunes that leave the realm of copying others without thinking, and go off into the realm of the surreal.

If you're willing to pay someone, take it to a dyno shop and get a tune for your specific engine.

Since you're running an MS-1, good place to start is with the MSPNP base tune. I've attached the MSPNP9093 w/o MAF base tune. First thing you want to do with it will be to adjust your VE settings in the idle area -- I needed to go richer on my engine for a decent idle.

As you work with your tuning software, recommend you go through each page and read the help to understand the parameters. Learning curve is steep, especially at first. But, once you get a foundation, it gets a lot easier. No shortcuts that I know of.

With the basics in place, the gurus here are great for answering specific questions or explaining something that is confusing.

Good luck.
