So did your car blow up yet? I am running 17psi on 93 octane with a whopping 9 degrees of timing at peak torque ramping to 16 at redline.

Have you gotten some DET cans and put them on while you are in that range and actually listened for knock?

You can still have knock in that region but our engines are really noisy also. Do a part throttle run and you should see the same knock spike. You can also coast down a hill through that rpm range and see it.
I stopped routing my catch can from my breather to my intake. Set it up to go from breather and PCV to atmosphere. AND MY DETONATION WENT AWAY. |
