Default Anyone here using WI with Intercooler???

Is anyone using it with an intercooler??? Or is that not a good combination???

That is a great combination. Most people using WI are using it with an intercooler. Spraying after the IC, just before the TB.
Then there are people like magna that run a lots of boost and tons of water with no IC. That is always an option. The WI is a great addition to an IC. I personally feel the IC to be necessary and something that should come first.

I run only the WI also. Love the setup and has given me no problems so far except torque and clutch slip.

Its a ******* outstanding combo and will let you get away with nutty amounts of boost on pump gas.

I wouldn't think twice about running 15 psi on something T28 or T3 sized.

im runnin' 14lbs w/ no WI safely...i think after 15psi, it becomes a question of turbo size and internals

Yes but you have a FM2 i presume with FMIC and link ecu he wants to see what he can do on his NB wich is abit harder on engine management choices given his ECU controlled alternator, higher compression, and obd2 crap. WI would go a long way to do this for him i believe.

I'll have a car pushing 20 psi here shortly on one of those Ebay kits with the 16g. Fmic plus the Devil. Just wanna blast past 250 whp on pump gas. Should do it I think.

20 psi i hope so wich 16g the evo or large should put you in the 300+ range no problem
