koto's random DO kit installation observations
Just some things I noticed or mistakes I've made or advice from WOT I thought I'd share.
1. Push-to-connect fasteners are NOT pull-to-disconnect
2. The plastic check valve is FULLY capable of snapping if you're too aggressive with it.
3. The pump must prime itself without the check valve in place.
4. The pressure switch will not install directly into "miata-size" vacuum tubing. Need adapters.
5. Ensure that the pump is plumbed correctly before declaring it dead.
6. The relay harness' colors are different from the instructions. Go by relay post #.
7. 1/8th NPT female-female adapters can be had at homedepot's plumbing section.
Feel free to correct me/add your own observations and/or guidance.

I haven't installed mine yet, but I thought that if you depressed the colored plastic ring around the connector that the tubing was supposed to come out. Does not this work as advertized?
