I'm progressive.

Mine starts at 5 PSI and ramps up to my max of 11.4 PSI. I'm using an Aquamist 0.7mm nozzle and I don't think I've maxed it out yet.

I use 91 octane with about 4 ozs of Torco per tank.

I spray from the 5 PSI all the way up to my 8.4 psi max.

A lot of tests were done on Suby's with 50/50 alky and race gas and still showed gains with the injection and the race gas over race gas alone. From the cooling effect obviously since octane was a non-issue.

Mine kicks on @ 3-4 psi now, 5 psi max

When I go to 12 psi It'll kick on at 5-6 psi.

3psi, I have the diaphram adjustment to where it is on almost continuously. I love it like this and the car pulls like a freight train up until the clutch starts slipping.

what about with the injection and not race gas? race gas primary function is knock control, right?

I get meth alky free so it's a non-issue. It also seems you turbo guys go through the WI a lot faster than I do. I just checked my 3 qt WW fluid tank and I just went 180 miles and I had just under 1/2 tank left.

The more than you wanted to know link in my sig has all the details. I don't know how to move the map from EMU to EMB or if it's even possible.

I run a JRSC with 460cc injectors and a Snow Performance Boost Cooler kit. I am also in the process of switching over to e-85 so my current map is set up for 50% e-85. I doubt that even if we could move the map to EMB it would be right for a turbo setup.

But if you want to give it a shot send me an email address and I will mail you my map. If things go poof just remember I am pretty new to this tuning stuff, so use it at your own risk.

I'd have to dig up the thread, but:

Race Gas + Meth > pump gas + meth > pump gas

I ran pump 93 and 50/50 meth/water on my turbo Forester and could run 4 psi more boost (from 19 to 23) and more timing than on 93 alone. Made about 50 more whp with hit. I had an upgraded TMIC and it simply heatsoaked too much when increasing boost without the meth.

For a comparison I'll be getting a new tune on 100 octane and 93. I've got a new FMIC now so I should be able to compare the various runs. It will be on the same dyno.

Chuckerants i can go 500-600 miles on a tank of methanol easily. We dont spray all the frigin time this isnt like your fuel injectors guys it is only on while in boost. So no boost no ussage if you drove 180 miles at any sort of boost the whole way i would say the wonder and amazement of this statement. The plain fact is turbo guys drive harder. Take your car to the track and see how many miles you go through per tank while trying to hotlap it on the current setup. this will be a more realistic predicator. I know it is fun to shock people and say i use 2 qrts on the way to work some times 30 miles but it is true becouse i am hauling **** the whole way 30 miles in 20 minutes is not sunday driveing. Yeah, I get to use all his tools, his cooled garage, he gives me his sage advise, his wife feeds me and he gets to watch me work all day long. lol

(But I have a hotside though.)
