Default [4] Toyo RA1 "R" Comp Tires 225/50/15 [$150]

I have a set of Toyo RA1 tires for sale. These are size 225-50-15. I got these from a friend when I was helping out on a SPEC Miata race team and he had used them for HPDE days. I think these tires were used for one event, and they were shaved before hand.

If you know anything about these tires I don't have to explain anythng to you, but if you don't... These tires are not worn out like they would appear, but are in fact perfect for track days.

I am selling all 4 for $150. I priced around on craigslist, and ebay and I feel that this is a pretty good deal. I saw just two used RA1's going for more than what I am asking for these 4. If you look at the picture the tire on the top is a Victoracer. I am throwing that tire in also to sweeten the deal.

PM me your contact information and I will get back to you.

I would rather not ship these so I would rather these go to someone who could come and pick them up. The tires are located in Birmingham, AL.

FWIW, those tires should have a lot of life left. The RA1s really hit the sweet spot when all the treaf has just disappeared.

Thanks for the endorsement...

These tires would be sweet for a track car. If I had plans to track my Miata in the near future, I would just keep them, but my current Miata as well as my wife's Miata are both street cars.

NP. If I was closer I'd probably pick them up. I have about 2 track days left in my current RA1s, and would like to do at least 3 events this summer. Unfortunately the budget is on hold until I finish the turbo conversion.

I know the feeling... I am in the middle of turboing my car, just finished the wife's Miata, and I still have an old xs650 Yamaha that I am turning into an old skool bobber to finish. I need to get some stuff out of the garage and get some money in the project account.

Proud owner of RA1s on 6ULs right here, my set has just worn down past all of the tread (so it appears treadless, or slick-like in nature) and IMO that is the BEST point in the tire's life (as far as dry autocrosses go).

Just my 2 cents here, but I paid more for a set of slightly more qorn RA1s here in phx not too long ago, this is a good deal.

Would you be willing to meet halfway between Atlanta and Birmingham? Should only be about 75 miles/1 hour each.

I really want someone to simply bring me $150 and come pick them up. I would rather ship them than load them in the SUV and drive an hour away. I migh feel differently if we could hop in one of the Miatas and meet someone, but taking the SUV to meet someone would be my last resort.

So if someone wants to come pick them up they move to the front of the line. If no one wants to do that I will go down to the UPS store and see how much they cost to ship. I think I can just lash two sets of tires together and slap a lable on each of the two bundles. I have received tires like this from Tire Rack.

At that point if anyone wants to send me $150 via Paypal and exact shipping costs i will be willing to do that.

Thanks to everyone for the interest. I will post shipping costs if someone wants to do it that way.

The first person that pm'd me about shipping is next in line behind someone who is willing to come and pick them up.
