I just came across an 01 that hit a light pole head on. It's been sitting for a year or so.

I was thinking of grabbing it, and using the head and 6 speed. I don't belive it has a torsen. I guess it had some kind of luxury package. Leather, boise etc.

I'll get the vin later today and run it. See what it really has. Get some pix also.

I went this afternoon to get a closer look at the car. It was in worse shape than I imagined. It is a 2001 BRG Special Edition, it has been sitting in the elements for at least a year and a half. The owner thought he was going to use it for a locust, then finally decided to sell, when nothing was coming of it.

I made an offer today, If it's accepted I should have the car in a week or so.

The car didn't hit a pole, the driver fell asleep on a narrow bridge hitting the wall head on then pinballed. The only panel's on the car not dented is both doors and driver rear quarter panel. The only light still in existence is driver rear. Trunk may be salvageable for a track trunk.

I'm going to use the head, trans, driveshaft, torsen, halfshafts, rear brakes.
Everything else will be for sale, I'm not trying to make a ton off this, everything is going to go, so make a reasonable offer and it's yours. Shipping will be actual cost.

I will take pics when I take possession in a week or so. I'm not a subscriber yet, so PM box is weak. Take dibs in this thread, when I actually get the car I will let everyone know, and offers can be made.
