Default '01 VVT cyl head, 83K minus ex cam, $180 (N. CA)

I'm selling this fresh piece of Mazda for:
$160 + shipping for head & exhaust manifold or
$130 + shipping for head without exhaust mani
from 95461, CA

It's a very healthy 2001 Miata VVT cylinder head w/83K miles pulled from a happily running engine. I used the exhaust cam on my '99.
All you'll need for a complete head is any 99-05 exhaust cam. (part # BP4W-12-440)

PM me for shipped prices, I will deliver it to you for additional $30 in the Bay/Sacramento area.

Teleport your NA8 or NB1 1.8L to the 21st Century or get your NB2 another happy head!

Thanks, Al.

Trigger, I got your PM but can't reply (not enough posts yet)

The total shipped price w/out exhaust mani is $249.19 (USPS, $69.19)

The total shipped price with exhaust mani is $283.45 (UPS Ground, $103.45)

This is a complete head except for the exhaust camshaft, all the other goodies are there!

Thanks, Al.

Thanks dude, totally forgot about FedEx!

trigger, USPS shipping with no exhaust mani is still the cheapest, $249.19 total ($69.19 for shipping to 39562)

FedEx beats UPS by $6.54 though for shipping with head @ $276.01 total ($180 + $96.91)

Yeah, I always go with Fedex Ground if I can't fit it in a flat rate USPS box, and I hate UPS ever since they lost some parts a few years back.

...I'd really rather not. It's hard enough to sell without the exhaust cam.. but few responses makes parting more possible..

PM's replied.

I'm starting a "Dibs part out list" right now in case I can't sell the head whole soon.

But for the moment I'd like one lucky soul to have a 95% complete head.

Thanks guys!

94-05 1.8 block + VVT head + Adaptronic, Hydra or MS-II = awesomeness...

Planet Miata & The Parts group have used cams & a new OEM Mazda unit is $167.50 here...
