Hello all,
Have some parts from my Mazda-speed Mx5, at 86,000 miles. Still working on the motor/transmission removal. I'm located in Moorhead, MN. I can ship, cheapest option is typically greyhound or UPS. Free pickup, or buyer pays shipping, can't give stuff away for free, guys. Micheal Keegan CNC Ported VVT Head, Brand new 0HRS -- $3,000.00 - Inquries please PM for details -CNC port job, Supertech +1mm Valves, Double Springs, TI retainers, INTEGRAL Cam Shafts, flows 259.8cfm@.550 intake, 189.2cfm@.550 exhaust. Cams are meant for street/track use, with good idle quality. Took a year to get, save yourself the wait. ARTech/FMII Turbo System, no electronics. $2,900 -GT3071 turbo w/FM coolant lines and drain, custom -6 oil feed. -FMII Silicon piping, intake, intake shroud, heat shield(modified to fit) -Spearco 3" core intercooler (needs custom bracket made, Keeping mine) -TurboSmart bov, Halman in-cab MBC, Speedhut boostgauge -ARTech FM replacement manifold w/ceramic coat from BEGI, SGDP, 3" from downpipe back, Vibrant Hi-Flow cat, Magnaflow 22" muffler. 2 O2 bungs. -Any questions, photos, etc, ask. May include SK2 mani/tb free w/kit -I am waiting on new studs for the turbo, so I may need 3-4 days to get them in. Other than that, it was removed a few days ago working, very nice setup. Stock MSM PPF, should fit any car. $75 Skunk 2 Honda B18C2 Intake Manifold+Billet 68mm Throttle Body, with Miata TPS adapter harness $300 -This requires the runners cut and Miata flange welded on, as well as a custom IAC solution, such as a jeep unit. Set of 4 DW 1000cc injectors. Ran for about 12k miles. Could use new seals before using. $300.00 ACT Streetlite Flywheel (13.5lbs) and ACT ZM2-XTSS clutch/pp. $450 Lightly used. Installed it and drove across state a few times since then. Around 14k miles P/n on flywheel is 600290, clutch is 3000203, Note some heat marks on friction surface. ___SOLD____ Diff with axles, $650. SOLD Driveshaft in good shape. You're sure those are DW 1000cc injectors, and not RX-8 injectors?
Most RX-8 injectors are yellow, and most DW injectors are black. |

Realistically, what you are asking for is about $650 from Abe himself, turbo back maybe in the 1200-1500 range. If all you need is a mid and muffler, you should give him your buisness, he is basically as good as it gets. Best work you can find, good prices, best customer service I've ever dealt with in one-off parts, and about anything I've ever bought for the Miata. |
Oh I know he does great work, my manifold and downpipe will be here in July ;) I just haven't ordered exhaust parts yet so if you were selling cheap I'd snap it up and make it work.

There is Greyhound near by. Please note, I welded the Honda IAC ports shut, and ran my own IAC. You'll need to solve this with the same strategy. The honda IAC didn't clear when I mounted it, stuck out way to far, so you'd have to drill out my weld to fit one up now. I have now my Hydra 2.7 for sale, with harness, with WBO2 harness modified to use Honda WBO2 sensors as shown on a thread from MT.net. Sent it to FM, jermey tested it just to verify the unit and harness are working fine. He also repaired a wire/pin on my harness for vss. He didn't test the WB since its not original, though. Asking $1500 +shipping. |
Ok guys, Taking reasonable offers on parts. I am also willing to piece out the turbo kit If I can find a buyer for major parts. I need to stop having a parts museum and sell this stuff to clear out the garage.
Added the hydra up top I have 2 engines worth of parts as well Motor 1: Bad MSM block (need to sleeve block to reuse) had a piston fail 3 good rods, 3 good used MSM pistons. Basically a bare block with oil pan, front accessories, etc. Anything you need, let me know. $300 for the whole thing, or make offer on pieces. Motor 2: 94 short block, MSM head. Has Bellfab rods, Stock MSM pistons, MSM pan. Unknown miles, between 10-20k between builds. Has oil feed/oil drain already there. Will sell crank/rods/pistons seprate as well as the head if someone wants an MSM head. Has one painted black MSM valve cover with an 2 -6 an fittings for catch can, and one stock red MSM valve cover. Comes with brackets, and accessories, no intake manifold, no exhaust manifold, no coils either, just the metal. $700 Serious offers are considered, ask me if you have any questions. |

Possibly. Want me to open it or not open it. Its stripped, but I have yet to pull off the oil pan. I was going to pull the rods/pistons and check them out, assuming new owner would do new bearings. If I recall correctly, shipping one of these is a few hundred.

Would probably want it intact. I'll pester him tonight and see how far he wants to go with this. We have been looking for a BP4W for a while, the rods and such are a huge bonus. Of course popping the head for pics of the pistons/cylinders/valves/chambers is probably not a bad idea. When was the last time you ran it?
Why would it need new bearings after 10~20k? I mean, I understand it wouldn't be a terrible thing considering it would be a 3rd hand engine at that point. Just curious. |
Shouldn't need bearings, no. I actually tore the head off already, its in my other, other thread. Take a look. It was a complete bp, but the bottom end isn't stock MSM actually. I think the block is a 94/95, it doesn't have the oil port tapped on the driver's side, so we used the Oil pressure sensor on the drivers side for oil feed.
