thats about half the weight of the stock seat. maybe even more than half just by a bit.
sounds good. let me go to the interior shop near me and see what they will charge to change the cover on the seat to a different color cloth. i dont think red will fit my blue/green miata too well. ha

where did you get it by the way? certain website?
edit: just went back up and read you got it from the forums.

It was pretty difficult to weigh since the seat kept covering the numbers, but I read ~13 lbs. I don't know how much a stock seat weighs, but holding the CF seat after holding the stock seat feels feather light.

fyi to weigh the seat, weigh yourself, without the seat, then weigh yourself with the seat, and the difference is the weight of the seat....

EDIT: THE WHEELS/TIRES ARE MINE... DIBS...

aug: Good thing you didn't. I bought it in October 2009...and I recently installed it but then had to sent it in to diyautotune for repairs. When I received it, it was rattling and **** disconnected. diyautotune is still looking into it after a week and they think its been tampered. BADLY. Which reminds me...never buy anything electronic related from a random person.

Thanks for sharing, I've been looking for a used one... This makes me consider buying new. I hope everything gets straightened out.

Sorry for bringing this thread back from the dead, I failed to notice the post dates.

If anything, I'd look at the stickied thread and have braineack build one for you. Its cheaper and he's reputable. Cheers.

i puchased one of them used also... and went through a nightmare with ups to get the insurance to cough up the funds to replace... for something like ms, don't buy used unless you see it in the car running, watch the person unplug it and hand it to you... lol...
