102k 2001 VVT Engine, VTCS, OEM Clutch, Misc NB2 Parts
Located in 90064. Price is without shipping, and is negotiable.
Perfectly running original VVT Engine from a low mileage (102k) 2001 Miata. The car that the engine came out of has been my daily driver up till now, so I know its history and running condition. It's never seen track abuse or modifications. I couldn't pass up a great deal from a friend and upgraded to a more powerful motor so I have no use for this one anymore. Price of $1,200 is just for the long block, valve cover to oil pan. The coil on plug setup is included, but not injectors or fuel rail. Always run on Mobil 1 0W-40 European Spec Full Synthetic. Replaced valve cover gasket and coils last year, NGK wires, thermostat, VVT gasket, VVT oil filter, PCV grommet, PCV valve, and rear main seal last week. Makes great power with 10:1 compression ratio. We can do a compression test before you take the engine. I have access to all the accessories and misc items that you may need to complete a swap, and can work out a deal. $1200
VTCS Manifold with butterflies removed. Just needs to be filled with JB weld. When gutted it makes more power than square top or VICS up to 6krpm (https://www.miataturbo.net/engine-per...op-eudm-62200/) $80
1.8L OEM clutch w/ resurfaced flywheel & new OEM pilot bearing. 8.24mm overall disc thickness (New is 9mm). (Shipping will cost $16 USPS Priority Flat Rate) $100

Sport Sway Bar Set Front (22mm) and Rear (12mm). Front comes with new Energy Suspension urethane bushings. No end links for the front. Rear comes with OEM bushings and end links. $120

New Clutchnet Red Stage 3 1.6l Pressure plate $200
Adding New Clutchnet Red Stage 3 1.6l Pressure Plate. Can be used on 1.8l cars with a 1.6l flywheel and friction disc to reduce rotating mass. Moderate pedal pressure, about the same as ACT HD, but has enough clamping force for even 1.8l boosted cars. Also great for N/A track cars. I was going to use this on my NB2, but got a complete 1.6l Clutchnet combo from a friend's car instead. $200
