He got back to me yesterday about my order. Guess he's been sick lately, so it may take some time for him to respond.

Braineack 02-04-2009 12:34 PM

dstn2bdoa 02-24-2009 12:37 AM

Baal 02-24-2009 06:01 PM

Yes Braineack, i am looking for one by the end of the month.
But i need to discuss a few details first with you, o will send you a pm maybe its better.

gospeed81 02-24-2009 06:19 PM

Ordering from Brain is the best thing you can do.

Easy to deal with, great looking build, well packaged, and got it here faster than I could do something with.

Hopefully it will hit the car this weekend.

hope to ear from you soon.
Cash waitting!

gospeed81 03-13-2009 01:00 PM

Mine is installed, and working flawlessly.

Thanks Mr. Braineack!

Srsly, if you are mulling your engine management choices, this has got to be the quickest, most affordable way to get to the most comprehensive tuning option there is.

Just do it, and get to boostin. Scott's great to deal with, makes great builds, and better with support.

That is good to hear. I just sent Scott the payment and hopefully the MS will be on the way soon. I will install it on the car and make sure everything is running right, then I've got to decide if I want to install the JRSC that is sitting on my work bench or order one of the Shanghi turbo kits from Corky... Decisions, Decisions...

I spoke with Stephanie yesterday and I think pricing is supposed to be out in a few days.

gospeed81 03-18-2009 01:47 PM

Off topic, but I would definitely go turbo.

EDIT: On topic, atleast you will have engine management capable of either.

Well... I am putting the Supercharger back up for sale. I have decided to go with a BEGi Starter kit.

Does that make a difference in how Scott builds the Megasquirt?

Braineack 03-19-2009 09:08 AM

nope.

Good choice.

The MS will enable you to get the most out of any FI system or upgrade.

On the BEGi kit, just delete the rising rate fuel pressure regulator since your MS will take care of fueling needs.

Yep... that's exactly what I am doing. I'm going to get Corky to add a connection for a Bosch recirculating BOV, like I had on my previous custom Greddy set-up, and I am going to have him set up the pipe so I can put together my own custom intercooler.

Vincent123 03-30-2009 02:33 AM

pmed you

Baal 03-30-2009 04:14 PM

Got mine this last week, cant wait to install it!
thanks Brain!

mtbgael 04-13-2009 06:38 PM

PM'd...forgot to add in there I'll also need a circuit to activate the VICS...
