Damn, that's a steal especially if you plan on rebuilding the motor for turbo.
|
I know, I'm trying to resist the temptation to buy it and restart my build.

I've noticed the prices on '99s coming down somewhat lately. You never used to be able to find them under $5k in any condition... seen several laterly in the $3k-$4k range.

If I bought this, I could swap my suspension, rollbar/doorbars, and wheels over. I guess I could remove my frame rail reinforcements and swap them over too.
Of my parts pile, the 1.8 open rear end, 1.6 ACT clutch, the turbo kit, and MSII would have to be sold off. The LC1 and 460cc injectors could be kept. Then I'd need to repurchase an appropriate 1.8 clutch, turbo/Rotrex kit, and a DIYPNP. Hmm. |

1.6, mine is a 1992.
|
So would you rather have a 1992 NA 1.6 with 95k miles, or a 1999 NB 1.8 with 195k miles?

Keep one NA and boost the other. |
Nah, don't have the room to store 4 vehicles conveniently and don't want to pay insurance on a 4th vehicle.
