Uhh...$600 a 1999, not possible. Worthy of flaggage IMO.

I love when people say their miata with "aftermarket racing rEmz and exhaust" is a VERY FAST CAR!

Seems weird for a scammer to advertise that the car needs a $2000 repair.

I guess. FS ads without pics are useless.

Someone in LA call them and see if it is really for sale. If I was on the west coast I would try to pick it up in a heartbeat.

nickt93 got his '99 here in Atlanta off CL for $780, supposedly didn't run and the shop quoted the previous owner something outrageous to fix it. He changed the spark plugs and it runs great now.

man, you cant get a 1999 in Canada for less than 7K. Right now they are going for about 9K and there are some 2001's for 13K and 15K - just crazy. Sure they run and have low km but still.

Just chimin' in on this one. These things can be legit - as Eric mentioned I picked up a really nice NB for $780 with a "blown motor". I did compression and leakdown tests (well...as good as they can be done on a cold engine) and didn't see any issue, so I changed the spark plugs and it fired right up. The car runs strong and has been great.

It was originally advertised at $500, but after the owner was flooded with calls he started to take bids. Still, at $780 it was a steal. Pics and my build thread are linked in sig.

On top of a blown motor, it has an air conditioner leak and the bad coilpack probably is what took out the cat. Add on some tears in the top and interior and there ya go.

EDIT: post deleted. N/M

I use to have a quote from CL about this as my sig. I went somewhere along the lines of "It has an intake install, so it flies!"
