I am therefore parting out my 2000 Special Edition. I tried selling the car, but I couldn't even get $3500 out of it as it has a salvaged title and had a bit of the front sectioned in front the sway bar mount, rocker rust and front frame rot by the sway bar mount. You know, all the normal rust spots. Also rust on the back shelf where the previous owner let the soft top leak I bought this car about 2 years ago to take the motor out and put in the orange car for a bit which I did. The car had 155k ish when I bought it, it has 157k on it now. The motor was in the orange car for a couple of autocross events before it went back in the purple car. I've put a good deal of maintenance work on this car, especially the motor, which is a great buy. It has a practically new Racing Beat header in it and a cobalt reroute. A very new set of hawk HP+ pads on it.
I'm going to price the big stuff. If you want any of the little parts ask. I'd prefer not to mess with tiny dollar amounts of stuff. Please bundle things up. I'll match or beat the major online part dealers and not charge you tax.

Motor: BP4W Long Block (valve cover, head, block and oil pan) - $2k - firm, this is a solid motor and this price is good for what you are getting
157k miles, runs great. Fully refreshed less than 2k miles ago. Gates kevlar timing belt, all new timing hardware, boundary oil pump, gates water pump, new oem seals.
Includes cobal reroute with it.
6 Speed Transmission - $1k
works fine, never had any issues
3.9 Torsion Diff - $500
The carrier bearing is bad in this diff. The rear case will not come off the power plant frame, so unless you want me to ship the whole thing as one, this is for the diff without the rear case.
You will need to replace the carrier bearing, this is the front bearing where the drive shaft goes in
Torsions are going solidly for $1, this is a deal for a fixer-upper

That's quite a lot of miles but I am only about a 5.5 hour drive away in the Twin Cities. I wouldn't mind having a backup 6-speed for my 18 psi, full FM2 Garrett upgraded MSM (approaching 34k-miles).

I know pictures wont do it justice, but how wooden color matched is the wheel/ebrake/****? It looks like the wheel is lighter than the rest. Interested in a set if they are all the same shade.
