How do people sell items like this? Here i have multiple pictures, are honest and descriptive about the items, and no one even offers anything.

Maybe i need to be more aloof and mysterious, and people will trust me with their money!

Because John has sold a bunch of these same gears. Has a reputation of good communication, service ext. Sort of a small industry of his own.
I was amazed how fast he replied to questions and shipped to the US with tracking updates the whole way.

You're already at maximum aloofness and mysteriousness.

Yeah, he sold a bunch of 3.6 gear sets, they are all inspected and in good shape, so really no need for a long description and such.

This is a dumb question, but what do I need to install this into my 1996 torsen type 2 diff? Can I take it to a transmission shop and have them do it?

Nothing special . The shop just has to know what is doing or else the diff will whine like the guy above.
